Mardi Himal Trek

Embark on an exhilarating journey to the pristine landscapes of the Mardi Himal Trek. Spanning 11 days, this adventure offers a unique opportunity to explore the hidden gem of the Annapurna region, boasting panoramic mountain views, serene forests, and remote villages untouched by time.

The Mardi Himal Trek is a hidden treasure, offering a secluded and tranquil alternative to the more popular trekking routes in the Annapurna region. Situated to the east of the iconic Machhapuchhre (Fish Tail) peak, Mardi Himal offers stunning views of this majestic mountain, as well as panoramic vistas of the Annapurna range.

The journey begins in the picturesque city of Pokhara, where you'll embark on a scenic drive to the village of Kande, the starting point of the trek. From there, the trail winds its way through lush rhododendron and oak forests, alive with the sounds of birds and cascading streams.

As you ascend higher into the mountains, the landscape transforms into alpine meadows dotted with yak herds and traditional stone houses. Along the way, you'll have the opportunity to interact with the friendly locals, predominantly from the Gurung and Magar communities, known for their hospitality and rich cultural heritage.

The highlight of the trek is reaching High Camp, situated at an altitude of 3,580 meters, offering breathtaking views of Machhapuchhre and the surrounding Himalayan peaks. From there, a short but steep ascent leads to Mardi Himal Base Camp, where you'll be rewarded with panoramic views of the entire Annapurna range stretching out before you.

After soaking in the stunning vistas, descend back to Pokhara, where you'll have time to relax and reflect on the unforgettable journey you've undertaken.

The Mardi Himal Trek promises an unforgettable adventure filled with natural beauty, cultural encounters, and moments of serenity amidst the majestic Himalayas. Join us as we explore this hidden gem of Nepal and create memories to last a lifetime.
